Diamonds and gemstones are created by different ways that both involve the heat of the earth and how various elements combine under intense pressure deep inside the earth and find weaknesses or cracks in the strata of the core of the earth. Here they are able to spring through to the surface at precise ranges of heat.
This is uniquely so with diamonds, which are the more refined cousin to common coal. They are both carbon, but created quite differently. And that does make all the difference. If it is black and dirty it will be shoveled in to some furnace to heat and pollute.
If it sparkles and glitters as only a diamond could, it belongs on the elegant finger of a beautiful woman who would say I would. If she sees diamonds and gemstones then she knows she is loved enough to be shown off in this way.
It is this way with flowers as well as diamonds and gemstones: women are drawn to them like bears too honey. We men smile through our frown and say yes but how much does it cost?
When she tells you, and shows you what a net price can bring you, it is for your jaw to drop. You can try to splutter than this is like stealing and for once she will agree with you. And she loves it, as you may notice.
Our grand daughters have walked the malls with us, and they find they prefer their new own e-malls. The mall is all right but the net is at home. Here we gather with friends that we can invite, so Grumpy won’t come for the night. The girls shop and they giggle, as they are in control.
They have saved their spare dollars and will spend on a roll. But that wise brain of each lady remembers the refrain: spend for investment before you seek fame.
It seems to be working, they work and invest. And each at at the mall they keep looking their best. And when they pass that rude lady who clerks in the store where they sell diamonds and jewels galore. At first they speak not a word, but point at prices tags and then say that’s absurd.
It took years before the diamond experts would don their parkas and come see, and they had to agree. Now to the world, and as a means of providing affordable industrial and fashion diamonds is a good thing for us all.
Polar Bears are being stamped on each Canada diamond bottom, and many more diamonds are now available to us all. Which makes lucky grand daughters who enjoy all the fuss. It is a world our grand children may need to teach us how to navigate, but we think that is a very good thing.
